Guest Speaker-Lily C Hansen   This week in Visual Literacy we were lucky enough to have a guest speaker. Lily Clayton Hansen is an actress and producer. Her most recent work "Snowflake" was shown in class and discussed throughout the week. Hansens award winning drama is only 13 minutes long but displays a series of highs and lows throughout. My class got an opportunity to meet with Lily over a zoom call and ask her questions about her work. Most of us had very similar questions. We wondered about how she was able to cry so easily and on command. We also asked if she got the opportunity if she would change anything about her film. Hansen told us "No". She explained that her short film did better than she imagined. She decided that she was happy with how it turned put and content with the results and awards earned. Only spending $500 on a successful film is more than impressive. Hansen will soon move on to bigger and better work as "Snowflake" isn't even...

 Blog Post #1 I'm not exactly sure how to begin with a blog post like this, but the plan is to show and describe 5 pictures and give a reason for its significants to me.  This is a picture of me with a frog I caught in Texas. It took me longer than my cousins to catch my first frog, but I still had a lot of fun. On this day, the temperature was up to 113 degrees and when this picture was taken at 10:00 pm, it was 85 degrees. This summer my family went on vacation to Hawaii. Hawaii is filled with tons of beautiful scenery and untouched nature. I took this picture because I loved the view and wanted to remember it as best I could. I took this picture while in Texas to visit my aunt and my cousins. I always heard how the sky is bigger in Texas as well as the Sun. This picture doesn't do any justice, but this was the day I learned that everything is bigger in Texas. This is another Texas picture.
